*Note: Please forgive me, all of you diehard Sforzendo fans! I could not resist this one. It was in the middle of the exams, and I needed something to get my mind off of them. This is probably the shortest story I have ever written.
Welcome to Hamelin. If the tall, dark spires of the castle and the demons who inhabit it were not unfriendly enough, this particular night (or day... you can never tell with those storm clouds always blocking out the sun!) a guest would find the place particularly unhospitable. The reason why was painfully simple. The Hamelin army had just suffered yet another defeat at the hands of their enemies.
Perhaps the only thing that saved Guita, Drum and Saiza from total anhilation at Bass's hand's was the fact that they had miraculously managed to capture Queen Horn. However, it only added to Bass's ill temper that his hostage, Lute, was getting into the annoying habit of regaining control of his body, and attempting to rescue his mother (Not to mention throwing Bass's head across the room in the process!).
After the third such (painful) rescue attempt, Bass was sitting in his throne desterately trying to think of a way to remedy the situation. Then, it came to him. The idea was simple, yet it carried the seeds of Sforzendo's destruction. This idea was so good that Bass could not help but to tilt both heads back and laugh in that wonderful evil villain laugh (in stereo, Lute is laughing too, y'know!) we all know and love.
Without further ado, Queen Horn was terminated. That is to say... permanently. Her body was sent back to Sforzendo as proof of this evil act. Several hours later, (12:00 p.m. to be exact) Princess Flute was hastily crowned queen of Sforzendo. Two minutes later, (at 12:02 p.m. to be exact) Sforzendo fell, due to lack of intelligent leadership.
There you have it, folks, the fall of Sforzendo! By the way, when Lord Kestra got eventually released and the world was overrun by evil demons, Bass was given a medal of honor (as if he doesn't have enough already) and Lute was released long enough to be given a lollypop.
